Word 2003
Adding a custom dictionary like LexisMed to Word is pretty straightforward. Just a few steps and you're ready to go.
- Download the dictionary, and open the zip file.
- Extract all.dic to a directory you'll remember. (With the rest of your documents is probably best.) On my computer, this is my Documents folder.
- Open Word, and then go to the Tools menu. From there, hit Options, and then hit the "Spelling and Grammar" tab. It should be in the top row. (screenshot)
- Click the button that says "Custom Dictionaries…"
- Click "Add…"
- Find your file(s).
- Click OK a bunch of times
